How to prepare the recipes

Most of the recipes on this site were created by a busy mom: Me:)
Therefore they are all simple, use basic ingredients, fairly inexpensive to make and delicious!! I  am also going to include recipes I try that aren't mine...but will give proper credit where credit is due!

HOW TO:
You’ll notice that I do not include detailed step by step instructions to every easy cookie or muffins recipe etc. That is because it’s unnecessary!! The basic rules I have for mixing up ingredients are as follows:

Use a big mixing bowl
Start with the eggs in the recipe and beat them with a wire whisk before adding any other ingredient
Then add your sugars and fats and blend super well with the whisk
Next add whatever other wet ingredient the recipe calls for and blend well with the whisk
Lastly add all your dry ingredients and mix well with a wooden spoon.

In this way you only use one mixing bowl, 1 whisk, 1 wooden spoon and of course your measuring cups and spoons and baking pans. This is the method used throughout this site unless otherwise stated in the individual recipe! Bread making though is a whole other art form!!! I’ve included special instructions for that:)
