today's "bit of life" entry and Hungarian goulash soup recipe

And today recipe is below:

Hungarian Goulash soup


This soup is very flavourful and my kids enjoyed it very much.

Ingredients:

2 tbs oil

1 diced onion

1 1/2 pounds cubed beef (stew meat)

water~enough to fill a medium sized pot

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp pepper

2 tsp salt

1 tbs parsley flakes

3 tbs vegeta seasoning

5 carrots chopped

1 red pepper chopped

4 cubed potatoes

Method:

Fry the onions in the oil then add all other ingredients minus the potatoes. Cook on low until meat in tender then add potatoes and keep cooking until potatoes are done.
