Chewy coconut squares

These are the best ever squares!! My favorite. If you like tarts you'll like this! Easy to make and easy to eat:):)

Chewy coconut squares

Base:

~2 cups butter

~1 cup brown sugar

~3 cups flour

Cream above ingredients together and press firmly into a 11x16 inch greased pan (next size up from a 9x13) Bake at 350F for about 10-12 minutes.

Topping:

~1 3/4 cups sugar

~4 tbs flour

~1 tsp baking powder

~4 eggs

~2 tsp vanilla

~2 cups chocolate chips

~2 cups shredded, unsweetened coconut

~1 cup raisins

Blend above ingredients together and spread evenly over baked base. Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden in colour. Cool completely before cutting. For best results refrigerate overnight before slicing. Enjoy!
