Lazy chili

This recipe is called "lazy chili" because it uses canned beans that cook quickly instead of the traditional soaked beans that I normally use. It's ready in a snap and serves up nicely with a sprinkle of cheese on top and a side of Cesar salad and garlic toast.

Lazy Chili

1 1/2 pounds ground beef browned and NOT drained

48 oz can of pork and beans

19 oz can of mixed beans drained

10 oz can of tomato soup

1 can of Hunts thick and rich four cheese pasta sauce

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 tbs oregano

1/2 tbs garlic powder

1/2 tbs salt

1 tsp black pepper

Place all ingredients into a large crock pot. Mix well and cook on low until ready. I usually cook this from about noon until dinner time. This recipe can be made on your stove top as well!
