Crispy rolls

Crispy rolls

  • 1 cup corn syrup

  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 3 tbs butter

Bring the ingredients above to a boil (stir stir stir!) Pour over :

  • 6 cups rice crispy cereal

Stir until coated the dump out on a big piece of wax paper (if your counter is damp before you lay the wax paper on it...your paper wont keep moving slipping around, making the job easier!)
Press into a big rectangle shape...about a 1/2 " think. Let sit for about 15 min.

Filling:

  • 2 cups icing sugar

  • 1 cup cocoa powder

  • 1/2 cup butter softened

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 tsp vanilla

Beat frosting ingredients with an electric mixer until spreading consistency. If too thick add a bit more water.

Spread evenly over your rectangle and roll up jelly roll style using the wax paper to help you hold it as you roll. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill. Cut into slices and serve:)

Easy,Delicious and kid friendly.

I made your Banock this morning. It made me shoot up out of bed, just thinking about how yummy it would be and how easy it would be.

We loved it. Thank you for sharing your recipe. I did the half apple sauce, half water mix.
