Chicken Paprikas
~8 chicken breast halves (you can use other chicken parts too!)
~1 chopped onion
~1 chopped red pepper
~1/2 cup canned crushed tomatoes
~salt, pepper, garlic to taste
~2 tbs vegeta (vegetable seasoning)
~1 tbs paprika
~1 cup water
~1/2 cup sour cream
Method:
Put all the above ingredients except the sour cream into your crockpot around noon and cook until supper time. When cooked take a knife and cut all the tender chicken breast halves into small pieces in your crockpot. Then mix in sour cream and serve over rice, pasta, mashed potatoes or home made dumplings!(recipe to follow)
In case you are wondering what "vegeta" is, here is the package. It's from my local grocery store and adds great flavour to many a dish!
