Here is a food/desert that really makes your breast milk rich and creamy. I always like to have this shortly after I give birth and into the next week. With my last baby (who is 2 years old already!) I ate 3 batches of this food over a few days and felt like my breast milk came in real strong. In Hungary mothers and mother in laws make this for their daughters and daughter in laws and bring it to the hospital after birth. My mother in law brought this in for me and had some in my fridge for when I got home. Normally she'd make more when it was all gone but she was sick so I resorted to make my own.
Here is how to make it:
Madar tej
Ingredients:
~1/2 gallon of whole milk
~10 eggs separated
~1 1/4 cup sugar
~1 tbs icing sugar
~ 2 1/2 tbs vanilla
~1/2 cup flour
~1 cup milk
Method:
~separate eggs
~bring your 1/2 gallon of milk to a boil on medium low (use a non stick pot or deep pan)
~beat egg whites and icing sugar
