When my baby was little I discovered that my baby would rather eat a banana if it looks like my banana than eat it mashed from a plate or bowl. So then I just cut a banana in half and scraped out the inside with a spoon. Worked for me:)

Bananas never last long in this house, but the baby finally got to taste one the other day and loved it! I just took little pieces of mine and mushed it with my finger a bit and right into her mouth. I find that the more children I have, the less I use the jarred stuff.
