Homemade syrup...

For pancakes and waffles!

We ran out of syrup. So we had this homemade version instead!

Ingredients:

~3 cups brown sugar

~1/4 cup butter

~2 tsp vanilla

~1/2 cup water

Method:

Bring to a boil stirring constantly, reduce heat and keep on stirring until all ingredients are melted. Serve immediately. Store left over syrup in an empty syrup bottle or gravy boat in the fridge. Syrup will thicken over time. Just reheat it and it's good to go!

I'm so excited that you shared this recipe because we are always running out of syrup! That, and I don't exactly like what store syrup is made out of. Thank you thank you!
