French toast


FRENCH TOAST:

Ingredients:


  • 1 1/2 big loaves of thickly sliced white bread

  • 7 beaten eggs

  • 3/4 cup milk or cream!(YUM!)

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Method:

Preheat griddle to 350F

Beat all ingredients thoroughly until well blended. Take each slice of bread and quick dip in mixture dipping both sides. Place on pre greased and preheated griddle. Cook both sides for about 1 1/2 minutes (or less) each. Re grease griddle between each batch. Serve with syrup or chopped fruit or both if desired. YUM!

Yerm...I'm a little amazed at the 1 1/2 loaves, but I'm sure with a family your size, you need that much bread. Wow!
