I made these a while ago but for some reason I forgot to post about them. They were soooooooo good!! I'll be making these again for sure. Sometimes grandma brings a couple of bags of Hershey kisses. Often they get gobbled on the spot but other times I have enough left that I can use them in this recipe and the kids just love it!
Hershey nests
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/3 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
36 Hershey kisses (more or less depending on the number of cookie balls you make from the dough:)
Mix the dough as you would with any other cookie recipe. Make cookie balls and bake on greased cookie sheets for about 6 minutes. While still hot press a Hersey kiss into the center of each baked cookie ball. Chill in pan before serving. YUM!!
If you run out of Hershey kisses you can make a "well" in the middle of the cookie ball with your thumb and fill with jam instead!
