This is an easy to make, quick to whip up recipe to serve with stews, bean dishes, crock pot meals etc.
Corn bread
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/4 cup oil
1 cup flour
1 cup cornmeal
1 tsp salt
2 tbs sugar
1 tbs baking powder
Bake in a greased 9 inch round pan for about 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. do not overbake. Slice like a pizza:) when the baked cornbread is cooled off. Enjoy!

Yummy! We had that last night too, but I have to fry mine like a pancake on the stove top! My children LOVED them! Yours are much more fluffy looking!!
Maybe I'm missing it, but I don't see the oven temperature?
